The price for this chair is what drew me to it. The construction is subperp! Assembly (no instructions in my box) was easy even with no instructions. It is a very well built chair.Now the negative. The chair seat is just not deep enough for me. Deep being the length from your bum to your knees. To me the most comfortable chairs support more of the back of the thighs. The fabric on the seat is course. Mind you I think it will last a long time, but, it is a bit abrasive for my skin. The seat is super adjustable, width/height of arm rests are adjustable and require no tools to adjust. The headrest is adjustable up and down and the angle it contacts your head, you can even offset it to the left or right. The only tool not provided that you need is a small "star"/Torx driver to lock the side to side location of the headrest. The chair is substantial. You wont want to carry this chair up steps. I assembled the chair and was really excited to sit in it, but found that it did not fit me well. I'm about 6'2" (long legs, regular torso) and have not sat in a chair that made me feel this big before. The headrest hits me squarely in the neck (raised as high as possible) and the height adjustment stops before it's comfortable. If you are tall or have a tall torso, find something else. If you are smaller than 6' you would probably be OK. The build quality appears normal, the padding on the seat isn't as good as I had hoped. It came non assembled and didn't have any instructions but it was easy enough to put together and has a solid feel to it - a little bit on the heavy side but not an issue for every day use. Adjustable Lumbar support is excellent but a little restrictive in it's movement, it has height adjustment for the seat and individual arms as well as tilt resistance but does lack horizontal seat placement and tilt locking. For its price, this is an excellent desk chair. |
